Super Smash Bros. Comet is a Super Smash Bros. game developed by Comet Gaming, Inc. for the Wii U and Nintendo Comet. It is intended to serve as somewhat of a series spin off, so it won't have that many characters. It's confirmed that only 20 will be playable, but the cut characters go towards expansion of the gameplay and new modes.
It's intended to serve as somewhat of a pair game to Fantendo Smash Bros. Comet.
Gameplay[]
The game will take a considerable re-imagining of the Super Smash Bros. franchise, involving two defining factors.
- Stages are now three-dimensional.
- They are far more open world such that it is possible to "hide" from opponents.
- The game will feature somewhat of a story mode involving completing missions or mini-quests.
But the classic fighting mode that's in the previous Super Smash Bros. titles will still be there, of course.

The roster will feature a total of twenty characters. Many characters from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U have been cut, leaving only eighteen veterans and a grand total of two newcomers.
